Humanitarian Development Without Borders

"Humanitarian & Development without Borders" (HDWB) is a borderless, impartial, independent, national Afghan organization working in extreme situations to bring immediate assistance to victims of wars, natural disasters, and exclusion, while specifically protecting the most vulnerable. It is the belief of HDWB that there is only one world and one humanity. A common sense of solidarity and mutual dependence forges a bond between human beings.
We Live United– to assist marginalized refugees, returnees, displaced, and host communities to create sustainable peace, innovative solution, that improve lives.
We envision Marginalized communities in which all individuals and families achieve their human rights, economic empowerment & peaceful environment.

What We Do?

Food Security

We help cover primary needs through the distribution of food, subsistence. We help cover primary needs through the distribution of food, NFIs subsistence.

Water, Heigan and Sanitation

We intervene to ensure clean water and build latrines in order to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people. We train to their correct use through hygiene promotion campaigns

Humanitarian

HDWB works with Afghans affected by natural and man-made disasters, as well as Afghans returning home, to help rebuild their lives.

Education

We promote the right to education by building or rebuilding schools, training teachers and promoting educational activities in humanitarian crises.

Shelter and re-settlement

In the event of natural disasters or acute phases of conflict, we intervene as soon as possible by distributing essential goods and providing shelter.

Protection

We are engaged in the physical and psychosocial protection of the most vulnerable people affected by humanitarian emergencies, with specific attention to children and women survivors of violence.
